Mr. Dil Bahadur Nachali Rai was born on January 1, 1972, in Charghare Village, Sarbhang, Bhutan. He later lived in Beldangi-III Refugee Camp before making Canada his home.
He was the beloved son of Mr. Purna Bahadur Nachali Rai and Late Mrs. Lachhimaya Nachali Rai.
He is lovingly remembered by his three sons:
Bibek Nachali Rai, Bidan Nachali Rai, and Binay Nachali Rai who are living in the USA with their mother Sancha Maya Rai
He is also survived by his brothers and their families:
* Dal Bahadur Nachali Rai and Suk maya Nachali Rai, and their children Dinesh Nachali Rai, Saraswoti Nachali Rai, and Sunita Nachali Rai.
* Mon Bahadur Nachali Rai and Leelawoti Nachali Rai, and their children Parmila Nachali Rai, Parbati Nachali Rai, and Sarmila Nachali Rai.
* Aita Raj Nachali Rai and Bibi Nachali Rai, and their children Adrina Nachali Rai, Aaric Nachali Rai, and Alena Nachali Rai. Lives in India.
* Dhan Bahadur Nachali Rai, and his children Aakash Nachali Rai and Badal Nachali Rai.
He will also be deeply missed by his extended relatives, including Sardha Magar, Dil Bahadur Magar, and Lorion Sunar, as well as many family members, friends, and community members in Canada, the United States, and around the world.
His passing is a tremendous loss to his father, children, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, friends, and the entire Bhutanese-Nepali community. On behalf of the Canadian Bhutanese Society, we extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to the grieving family.
As part of our community tradition, the Canadian Bhutanese Society (CBS) respectfully requests all CBS members to come together and support the bereaved family during this difficult time. We also request all CBS volunteers to assist in collecting community contributions, as has been done in the past, and to help the family in any way possible.
