What a wonderful and memorable day for our Canadian Bhutanese Society (CBS) Seniors Program!
Today, nearly 40 seniors from Lethbridge traveled together to Prairie Winds Park, Calgary, to attend the Nepali Mela 2026. From the joyful bus ride to meeting old friends, enjoying cultural performances, traditional food, music, and celebrating our rich Nepali heritage, the day was filled with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
For many of our seniors, this was more than just a trip—it was an opportunity to reconnect with friends, celebrate our culture, stay active, and enjoy a day of companionship and belonging.
A heartfelt thank you to all our volunteers, drivers, caregivers, and organizers who made this trip possible. Your dedication, kindness, and care ensured our seniors traveled safely and comfortably throughout the day.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the organizers of Nepali Mela Calgary for bringing our community together and providing such a welcoming celebration of our culture.
