CBS Seniors Cultural Day Program Launches June 18, 2026

The Canadian Bhutanese Society (CBS) is pleased to announce the launch of the CBS Seniors Cultural Day Program, a new initiative designed to bring seniors together for social connection, cultural engagement, recreation, and wellness activities.

The program will officially begin on Thursday, June 18, 2026, and will be held every Thursday from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lethbridge Public Library (Downtown Branch), Upstairs Community Meeting Room.

This program aims to reduce social isolation among seniors while providing a welcoming space to celebrate culture, build friendships, share stories, and participate in meaningful activities. Seniors will have opportunities to enjoy Nepali-Bhutanese cultural activities, music, dance, health and wellness discussions, light recreational activities, storytelling, arts and crafts, board games, and refreshments.

CBS recognizes the valuable contributions that seniors have made to our families and community. Through this program, we hope to create an environment where seniors feel connected, respected, active, and inspired.

We are also pleased to acknowledge the support of community volunteers and partners who have helped make this program possible. Their dedication and commitment to the well-being of our seniors are greatly appreciated.
