CBS Executive Committee was briefed that the meeting with city officials was very resourceful. The meeting was held on the 13th of January 2012 in the City Hall Lethbridge AB. It was attended by H. Timsina , U. Tamang, Mr. Ashley Mathews, Diane Randell, Bary Beck, Dawn Vickers and Farah who joined City of Lethbridge recently. They have suggested several options to get connected to other outfits either join them or inquire about the facilities for rent.
Hereafter they have asked us to follow-up with Dianne Randal for any further support from the city as well as the follow-up action. For our community’s seniors program, They are going to approach Sarah Ammes LIS for further discussions to join the city facilities. For youth Group from our community we shall make arrangement to join the Boys and Girls club in North Side. For a permanent room / gathering place for the community they suggested to approach the Avision Young realtors. She also would arrange for us to visit the Lethbridge MLA (West) in the near future.
